How often are rankings updated?
Weekly on every plan by default. Agency projects can be checked daily for up to 250 keywords across the workspace, and you can recheck any keyword manually from your monthly recheck allowance.
How deep do you check?
The top 100 positions. Agency workspaces tracking more than 1,500 keywords are checked to the top 50, which keeps large keyword sets affordable. Anything beyond the depth counts as not ranking.
Where do the positions come from?
Live search results fetched through DataForSEO for the exact location, language and device you set, not a cached database.
Can I import my ranking history from another tool?
Yes. Ahrefs Rank Tracker and Semrush Position Tracking exports (and any CSV with keyword, date and position) can be imported. How importing works.
Can clients see their rankings?
Yes. Create a guest link for a project; it shows live rankings without an account, hides your competitors and Search Console data, and can be revoked at any time.
